70 Million – Hold Your Horses

I was just doing the rounds, checking my daily sites, when I came across this band Hold Your Horses (check their myspace: http://www.myspace.com/holdyourhorsesparis ). I haven’t given them a good enough listen to add them to “Bands to Hear”, however I do recommend checking out one of their music videos for the song “70 Million”.

This video features the 7 piece band dressed up in costumes and placed in scenic settings which mimic classic paintings. They start the video by reanacting the “Last Supper” and from then on they cover artists Picasso, Renoir, Davinci and so many others. It’s amazing how much effort they put into this and I think it really payed off. This is definitely one of the most interesting music videos I’ve ever seen.
