MGMT – New Album

I found out this morning that MGMT has finally confirmed the track list and release date of their new album called “Congratulations”. It will be released April 13th and you can listen to one of their new tracks “Flash Delirium” and see the album art below.

In numerous interviews, the band has explained that this new album will “shock people” and that it is quite different from their previous album “Oracular Spectacular”. They have also mentioned that the main theme of the album, besides the “worldwide economic crisis”, is… surfing. The band has said:

“When you’re surfing, there’s a specific break you’re paddling to. And when the waves are really good you say, “it’s working.” The song kind of has a surf-y vibe. It’s like surfing on ecstasy!”

3. Someone’s Missing

Take a look at what I think is worth looking at on the web - a collection of art, music, movies, web design, and whatever else catches my eye. Be pepared for the occasional ramble about my life, as well.
